Order Follow-up in China

Your order, watched over locally — without the time difference

For buyers who already have a Chinese supplier. We chase the schedule, clarify requirements, and flag problems early — for a flat monthly fee per order.

Keep Your Chinese Order on Track — Without the Time Difference

Finding a supplier is only the beginning. Once an order is placed, overseas buyers hit the same problems again and again: factory communication takes days, production schedules are unclear, and small issues turn into delays before anyone notices.

TongSourcing acts as your eyes and voice on the ground in China. We work directly with your supplier on your behalf — chasing the schedule, clarifying requirements, and flagging problems while there is still time to fix them.

You keep your supplier and your relationship. We handle the day-to-day execution.

Why Orders Drift

Most order problems are not caused by bad suppliers. They are caused by distance, language, and time difference — and by the fact that nobody is watching the middle of the process.

The problemWhat happens without local follow-up
Communication lagEach question takes days; misunderstandings compound
Unclear scheduleYou find out about a delay in the final week, when it is too late
Silent quality driftSmall deviations go unmentioned until the goods arrive
Change requestsYour instructions are not relayed or confirmed properly
Paperwork gapsExport documents hold up shipping after the goods are ready

What We Handle

AreaWhat we do
1. Supplier communicationWe talk to your factory directly — clarifying specifications, orders, changes, and day-to-day issues in Chinese.
2. Production & order managementWe follow up on schedules, order progress, and delivery dates to keep your order on track.
3. Quality coordinationWe coordinate inspections and follow up with the supplier on quality issues before shipment.
4. Problem solvingWhen something goes wrong, we work with the factory on practical solutions and keep you informed.
5. Shipment coordinationWe coordinate packing, shipment readiness, and logistics communication before goods leave China.

Order follow-up covers management and coordination. On-site factory audits and product inspections are separate services, priced per man-day. If you plan to visit your supplier in person, see China Visit Support.

How Much It Costs

USD 280 per month, per active order.

This is a flat monthly fee — not an hourly rate. You know exactly what an order costs to manage, and there are no surprise invoices. A quarterly package is available at USD 600 per order.

Order follow-up is for clients who keep their own supplier relationship. If you would rather we handle the order end-to-end on commission, see our agency service (5% of FOB value). We never charge both on the same order.

Follow-up vs. Factory Audit vs. Inspection

These three services are often confused — they do different jobs at different moments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to change my existing supplier?

No. Order follow-up is designed for clients who already work with a Chinese supplier and want local support managing them. You keep your supplier and your relationship.

Can you manage more than one order or supplier at once?

Yes. The fee is per active order per month, so you can manage as many as you need. We coordinate across multiple factories and orders for the same buyer.

Does this include factory visits or inspections?

Order follow-up is management and coordination. On-site factory visits and product inspections are separate services, priced per man-day, so you only pay for the on-site work you actually need.

How often will I hear from you?

You receive a regular progress update on your active orders, plus immediate notice if a schedule or quality issue appears. You are never left waiting to find out how your order is doing.

What if the order is very small?

Order follow-up is a flat monthly fee per order, so it suits clients running repeat or ongoing production. If you only have a single small order, an inspection or a one-off coordination task may be a better fit — we will tell you honestly.

Can you also handle the factory for me instead?

Yes. If you would rather not manage the supplier relationship yourself, our agency service handles the order end-to-end on a 5% commission. We never charge both the monthly fee and the commission on the same order.

Want your orders watched over properly?

Tell us about your active orders and your supplier — and we will show you exactly what we would take off your plate.
