About TongSourcing

TongSourcing is a Hong Kong-based sourcing company with a sourcing office in Shenzhen. We help international buyers purchase industrial products from China with the risk managed on the ground — supplier verification, production follow-up, quality inspection, and shipment coordination.

TongSourcing International Co., Ltd. is incorporated in Hong Kong and operates a sourcing office in Shenzhen — across the border from one of China’s densest manufacturing ecosystems. Through the Hong Kong entity we handle international contracts, cross-border payments, and trade documentation. Through the Shenzhen office we do everything that requires physical presence: visiting factories, verifying suppliers, following up production, and inspecting goods before shipment.

We focus on industrial products — automation and robotics components, CNC-machined parts, electrical equipment — where drawings, tolerances, and engineering communication decide whether an order succeeds.

For international buyers, the hard part of sourcing from China is rarely finding a supplier online. It is everything after: knowing who is really behind the quotation, whether the factory can hold your tolerances, and what happens when production slips two weeks before shipment. Our role is to sit between the two sides — close enough to the factory to act, and structured enough internationally to be easy to buy from.

TongSourcing was founded by Tong after years across supply chain management, international business, and cross-cultural communication. After graduation she worked in supply chain and business development — supplier communication, project coordination, sales, and production-related work. During university she freelanced as a translator, building professional working proficiency in Chinese, English, and Japanese.

Those experiences kept revealing the same problem. International buyers can find Chinese suppliers online. What they struggle with is everything after the search: who is actually behind the quotation, whether the factory can deliver the promised quality, and who fixes problems when they appear. TongSourcing exists to take over that part — with a team that speaks the buyer’s language and sits within two hours of the factory.

AI and online platforms have made supplier discovery faster than ever. But a database can only tell you a company exists; a website only shows what a supplier claims. Real sourcing still requires people who can walk the factory floor, read between the lines of a quotation, and act when something unexpected happens.

That is why TongSourcing combines technology, supply-chain knowledge, local communication, and on-the-ground execution — and why every project gets one dedicated point of contact from inquiry to delivery.

You can work with us as your sourcing agent (a simple commission on orders we place) or as your trading partner (a flat price per order) — whichever fits your business. We never combine the two on the same order, and every fee is agreed upfront. No hourly billing. No hidden costs.

• New Supplier Sourcing — USD 600 per project. A shortlist of verified manufacturers matched to your drawings, tolerances, and requirements.
• Factory Audit — USD 320 per man-day. On-site assessment of a supplier before you commit.
• Quality Inspection — USD 340 per man-day. PSI, DUPRO, or sorting to your specifications.
• Order Follow-up — USD 280 per month, per order. We chase the factory, coordinate changes, and keep production moving.
• Procurement Agency — 5% commission on FOB value. We run sourcing and your orders end-to-end and you buy from the factory directly (minimum USD 150 per order).
• Procurement & Fulfilment — a flat quoted price per order. We buy from the factory, control quality, and deliver the finished goods to you.

Europe and North America are our primary markets, with strong demand from buyers in Germany, the UK, and the United States. Japan is our second market, where we work natively in Japanese, and we also support Russian-speaking buyers. Across all of them, our team works in the buyer’s own language — English, Japanese, or Russian.
